Simple Actions Can Have a Powerful Impact
Creating a safe workplace across our university is a multi-faceted effort that includes taking simple actions to advance physical, psychological and cultural safety. All three are equally critical aspects of feeling safe in the workplace.
The Simple Acts of Safety initiative works to physically insert these reminders into the university community through decals and provides access to online resources to help you succeed. Each decal has a simple action and guides you to the accompanying resources for more information.

Signage policy
This program has been approved by Facilities & Operations. As such, all decals must be posted in accordance with the University of Alberta Signage Policy and Posting Announcements, Notices and Banners Procedure. Please post decals in workplaces such as offices, laboratories and workshops only. Do not post decals in common areas such as washrooms and walkways.
