Annual Strategic Goals

Year 1 (by June 30, 2025)

  • Well-being and Safety: Baseline established for well-being, psychological safety, and anti-racism.
  • Mentorship and Professional Development:
    • Mentorship plan implemented for new and existing academic staff.
    • Professional development opportunities for academic staff, guest lecturers, lab facilitators, preceptors, and support staff.
  • Organizational Structure:
    • Faculty organizational structure and communication strategy established.
    • Faculty Code of Conduct established.

Year 3 (by June 30, 2027)

  • Support Expansion: Supports and processes for well-being, safety, and anti-racism expanded and matured.
  • Mentorship: Mentorship program evaluated, with recommendations implemented.
  • Organizational and Communication: Organization structure and communication strategies evaluated, with recommendations implemented.
  • Equitable Practices: Fair assignment and evaluation of activities (teaching, service, research) with increased recognition of achievements.
  • Team Building: Increased team building, social events, and engagement through staff-led activities.

Year 5 (by June 30, 2029)

  • Inclusive Environment: A thriving and diverse student body, faculty, and staff in an inclusive, people-centred environment.
