New Emergency Travel Assistance (ETA) Partner

Effective July 1, Sun Life will transition from Allianz to Global Excel Management as their new Emergency Travel Assistance (ETA) partner.

What this means for you

Your health plan and emergency travel coverage won’t be changing. In an emergency, you can continue using the same contacts found on the back of your travel benefits card:

• In the U.S.: 1-800-511-4610
• From anywhere else: 1-519-514-0351

New travel cards can be downloaded or printed from your Sun Life account on or after July 1.

Allianz will continue managing emergency travel claims incurred before July 1 while GEM will be managing those submitted July 1 or later. Should you need to submit a claim during this transition period, your provider will advise on next steps.
