5.16 Appeal of Admission Decisions
General Faculties Council policy states, "Any decision of the Admissions Committee in an admissions matter is final. There is no formal appeal from this Committee to any other body or person within the Faculty or the University. Applicants who wish to improve their qualifications for admission in a subsequent year may seek advice from the Faculty office." (GFC 1987/06/22)
"Admissions Committee" means any admissions committee or individual in a department charged with the responsibility for making decisions on admission or refusal of applicants.
This means that departments and GPS do not have to entertain appeals regarding admission decisions.
