Windows 10 21H1 Update Install, October 8
Microsoft has recently released Windows 10 version 21H1. Version 21H1 offers a small set of new features. For more information on this update see this webpage. IST makes every effort to constantly improve the computing experience at the University of Alberta and therefore will be offering this update to all of our clients using Windows 10 on the Central Domain.
This update will be installed on any computer that is running Windows 10 version 20H2 or older, is located on North Campus, and is joined to the Central Domain on October 8 at 10PM, and will cause your computer to restart.

This update will be installed automatically on October 8 at 10PM, and will cause your computer to restart so please make sure you have saved all of your work before finishing work on that day.
NOTE: If the update is unable to run successfully on October 8 it will retry daily at 10PM until successful. You can tell if the update was successful by checking the version of Windows your computer is running.
