Tuition and Fees
Domestic Tuition
Tuition for domestic students (Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents) is $1498.00 per course. Tuition is assessed each semester, by course.
Note: Tuition for MHSE domestic students is set at $1746.24 per core course for 2024-25. However, to maintain tuition rates across all Professional Learning programs, the Faculty of Education will provide a bursary in the amount of $248.24 per core course. The bursary will be applied after the add/drop deadline and prior to the fee payment deadline for each term. All tuition fees and bursary amounts are subject to change. This does not apply to electives or international tuition.
International Tuition
Tuition for international students is higher than for Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents - $2146.44 per course (subject to change). Scholarships
Because the MHSE is a part-time program, students generally do not qualify for University of Alberta scholarships.
- Métis students may be eligible for funding through the Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards.
- Contact your professional association to determine whether funding is available for your studies.
