Teach in the MD Program

Shape the Future of Medicine—Teach with Us!
Inspire the next generation of physicians by teaching in the University of Alberta’s MD Program, an innovative medical school dedicated to training diverse, competent, and compassionate physician leaders to serve the health needs of all Albertans. Share your expertise, shape future healthcare leaders, and make a lasting impact where it’s needed most!
Starting in fall 2025, pre-clerkship teaching can take place at our two sites - Edmonton and Grande Prairie. Clerkship teaching takes place in over 20 established rural teaching sites, as well as regional centres such as Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Fort McMurray. Keep reading for more information about the types of teaching opportunities currently available. To express interest in one or more opportunities, visit the sign up form and an MD Program representative will be in touch soon.
After completing the form, you can expect to hear from the MD Program within 3 business days with more information.
