Spring/Summer Programs
The Alberta School of Business offers summer programs to select institutions around the globe. Internal application must be made to the Alberta School of Business for summer programs before March 1, unless otherwise noted. However, specific application procedures, deadlines and program content may vary according to the destination. Please note that some programs listed below operate outside the regular exchange framework and tuition and fees must be paid directly to the host institution. See the exchange coordinator for more information.

However, a program fee of HK$7,000 for one session or HK$12,500 for both sessions will be charged by the host institution to cover (1) University housing fee, (2) HKUST compulsory travel insurance fee and (3) Student visa application and handling fee* *This amount will be deducted accordingly for students who do not need a student visa to study in Hong Kong. Host Institution: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Location(s): Hong Kong, China Dates: Session 1: July 2 - July 30, 2025 Session 2: July 14 - Aug 13, 2025 *students can attend one session only and may choose 1 course from three thematic learning tracks offered: Chinese Language, Culture and Society; Design, Innovation and Technology; or Business, Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership Credits: 3 UofA credits (business & non-business options) Tuition & Fees: Students nominated from the Alberta School of Business will pay UofA tuition & fees for 3 credits and be waived tuition at the partner as part of the exchange agreement. However, an Administrative fee of HK$550 to facilitate visa application and handling will be charged by the host institution. Special Funding: All nominated students from the Alberta School of business will have their housing fees waived by HK PolyU for on-campus accommodation during the International Summer School.
