Conditions
- Awarded annually to a student(s) registered full-time in a graduate degree program in the Department of History and Classics at the University of Alberta to enable them to perform archival and library research or to present the results of research at a conference in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
- Eligible topics include British history, the history of the British Empire, and the history of the English-speaking people.
Application Procedure
Eligible students should first contact the Department of History and Classics. Applications will be assessed by the Sir Winston Churchill Research Graduate Award in History Committee.
This scholarship is generously funded by an endowment established by the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Edmonton and supported by the Churchill Scholarships Foundation of Alberta.
