Tricia Bell is a proud alumna of the University of Alberta, holding a Bachelor of Commerce (’94) and Honours Bachelor of Arts (’00). Tricia also holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Concordia University (’02).  She taught Humanities at Vanier College in Montreal until 2010, then worked in the public sector and at MacEwan University before pivoting in her career, partnering with a local developer to re-develop real estate and operationalize a business, which they sold in 2018. After selling the business, Tricia was recruited into commercial real estate, working in Calgary until 2023 at which time she returned to Edmonton. 

Tricia enjoys active engagement in community work.  She was a key member of Curriculum Committee and Academic Council, Gender Studies and Social Justice Committees while at Vanier College, an ad-hoc member of various academic policy adjudication committees at MacEwan University, and Scholarship Committee Chair on the BOMA Calgary Foundation Board. 

In her free time, Tricia enjoys Edmonton’s culinary scene, theatre/dance, sporting events and time with family.
