Pegah Salari came to Canada as a student of MBA program at University of Alberta 2006. As an international student, U of A and specifically the school of business soon became her second home. The Inclusive culture at the business school along with the welcoming attitude of all staff at the university, created the first spark in her for becoming an advocate of Diversity and Inclusion.
Pegah is passionate about teamwork. She began her career at SNC-Lavalin and Lafarge and moved on to EMCO corporation in 2011 where she held various business analysis and business management roles for 12 years. In 2023 She joined Allan Forrest Sales as an account manager and brand strategist in a strictly sales driven role.
In 2024 Pegah started Alma International Publishing House Ltd, specifically dedicated to creating content for second generation immigrant children from around the world.
In the course of her career, Pegah has been in several leadership positions and has extensive experience in networking, hiring, coaching, mentorship, and development of new teammates.
Pegah served as the VP of Operations for Iranian Student Association at U of A from 2008 to 2010. She also helped create and hosted live and recorded radio programs through CJSR studio at University of Alberta for over five years. Pegah has written for New Trail magazine team as a freelance writer.
