Global Affairs Canada's International Scholarships Program provides a unique opportunity for talented senior Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degree-seeking full-time students who are studying at universities around the world to conduct research in Canada under the supervision of University of Alberta faculty members who are experts in their fields.

For undergraduate and graduate students from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos (Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)), Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam - Study in Canada Scholarships (SiCS)
For undergraduate and graduate students from Algeria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Taiwan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Türkiye, Uganda, and Ukraine
While research projects must be individually initiated and arranged by the prospective researcher, University of Alberta International facilitates applying on behalf of eligible students to Global Affairs Canada via the my EduCanada portal.
