Access and Fees

Using the Advanced Cell Exploration Core Facility

Researchers interested in accessing ACE Core services or equipment should first contact Mike Wong (mewong@ualberta.ca) to discuss their project.

Effective July 1, 2025, all internal users must have a signed Terms of Service and User Access Acknowledgement on file before we can proceed with their project.

Equipment usage

Requests for access to the ACE Core must be approved by core staff and new users must be trained prior to using core equipment. Equipment training by anyone other than core staff is not permitted. Please contact the core staff for training. 

The following platforms are available for autonomous usage:

• Electroporation: Lonza Nucleofector
• Metabolic Analyzer: Agilent Seahorse XFe96
