Ensuring we are attending to the needs of all students can be difficult but necessary. Oswal, S. K., & Meloncon, L. (2014) state that designing an online course can be difficult enough without also attending to the needs of students with disabilities and that many instructors have not been trained to support students in this way. However, utilizing good pedagogy and wise practices in course design help to support teaching and learning in the online environment.
