CTL Advisory Committee
Overview
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) fulfills its mission by partnering with instructors, departments, and colleges to create transformative learning experiences for the University of Alberta’s diverse student body. In doing so, the CTL connects networks and draws on the experiences and expertise of other university units whose mandates intersect with the teaching and learning environment.
The CTL Advisory Committee is the vital link between the unit and the broader campus community. It offers guidance and valuable insights to help the CTL prioritize its initiatives and deliver on its commitment to provide responsive, evidence-based programming and services that support the professional development of teaching practices across the university.
The committee comprises representatives from U of A’s faculties and colleges—typically Associate Deans responsible for teaching and learning—as well as students and other key interested parties.
