SCHOOL NEWS

Co-authored by alumni Andre LeBlanc, Carol Wong, Jared Bateman and Zeid Rijeb, along with current PhD student Kylie Heales and supervised by Joel Gehman, former professor at the Alberta School of Business, Meuwly’s: Scaling Sustainability in a Start-Up was published by Ivey Publishing. Meuwly’s is a small business in Edmonton co-founded by Peter Keith, '19 BCom, '20 MBA.

Alumni Accomplishments

Nicole Janssen, ‘02 BCom, co-CEO of AltaML, was selected as the recipient of the Emerging Entrepreneur Award at the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs 2021 Awards. This award is presented to a woman entrepreneur who has built a strong, scalable business foundation and has achieved early success with strong market potential. Congratulations!

Janis Simpkins, ‘18 EMBA, senior VP at Alberta Forest Products Association, was recognized by the Canadian Forest Industries as a Top 10 under 40. Well done!
