Mitacs Globalink Research Internships

Program Information

The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) program offers fully-funded placements for international senior undergraduate students from select universities to perform research in Canada for 12 weeks over the summer. Top-ranked applicants contribute to research projects supervised by University of Alberta faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines at campuses in both Edmonton and Camrose.

Globalink Research Internship (GRI) participants receive funding support from Mitacs for:

  • Flight to Canada
  • Transportation from airport in Canada to accommodations
  • Stipend for housing
  • Health insurance
  • Stipend for food and incidentals
