Graduate Student Internship Program

Move your organization forward faster and further.

The University of Alberta's Career Centre has partnered with the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) to develop the Graduate Student Internship Program (GSIP).

GSIP provides flexible, paid work experience to U of A graduate students through a variety of interdisciplinary work placements available throughout the year. These placements provide graduate students with the chance to strengthen their professional and transferable skills.

It includes the Sustainability Scholars Program and the Public Service Graduate Internship with the Institute of Public Administration Canada (IPAC), Edmonton Region.

Why Hire a GSIP Intern?

  • 600+ U of A students successfully placed since 2016
  • A quick, simple and efficient way to hire smart, talented and energetic people
