Sustainability Council Volunteer Program

 

Volunteers play a key role in outreach, engagement, event planning and support, delivering classroom talks, and even serve as student judges for the Campus Sustainability Leaders Awards.

There is no minimum commitment; volunteers register only for opportunities they wish to participate through the monthly volunteer newsletter.

Note: Current University of Alberta staff who are interested in volunteering should contact sustainability@ualberta.ca.

By collaborating with campus sustainability partners, you'll gain valuable sustainability knowledge and develop practical skills. 

As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to work closely with SC Interns and staff while connecting with faculty, staff, and fellow students. You’ll enjoy participating in annual volunteer appreciation events, where you can expand your network and forge lasting relationships.
