Screen Color Filter (Windows, Chrome extension)
ColorVeil is a screen color filter that can help with eye fatigue and strain. ColorVeil is only downloadable in Windows but a ColorVeil Chrome extension is available to work in all operating systems, and is compatible with Microsoft Edge and Brave.

Screen Tint (Mac)
For the Mac environment, there is a low-cost option available through the Mac App Store called Screen Tint. It is available for $3.99.

Colour temperature (Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone/iPad, Android)
f.lux is a free software that will adjust the screen according to the time of day. It allows the color temperature of the screen to be warm or cool for greater comfort.

Windows 10/11 Night Light and Mac Night Shift can be used to adjust for night lights and warmer colors in the computer settings. 

Microsoft Word
The background color under Word can be customized by going to the “Design” tab and then “Page Color” on the right-hand side.

Adobe Acrobat DC
For PDF files, under Adobe DC Reader, go to Edit > Preferences > Accessibility and then select “Replace Document Colors”.
