- $7,500 CAD financial support for students
- $5,000 CAD is funded centrally
- $2,500 CAD commitment from the UAlberta faculty member or department
- Research project is showcased at a research symposium
- Administrative and program assistance provided by UAI
- This includes the immigration invitation, CCID creation, welcome/orientation session, and campus registration processes
Submitting a project
Faculty members interested in hosting an intern during summer or winter should submit a proposal for a research project. Projects are accepted from all Faculties in all disciplines.
Review Placement Process, Timelines & Important Dates
UAI is now done collecting projects from UAlberta faculty members for the Winter and Summer 2025 programs. You are welcome to submit 1-3 research projects through our Project Proposal Form when it opens for the next cycle (date TBD). Thank you for your interest!
