Updates to Job Posting Form & Process

Recent updates to the job posting form and process are helping to reinforce the University’s Culture of Care and streamline the ability of hiring managers to indicate when special research requirements must be met. 

Commitment to Safety 

The Culture of Care: U of A’s Safety Action Plan defined an end state where “Everyone owns their safety performance and that of others”. This can only be achieved if all employees understand the shared responsibility toward safety. To ensure all new employees understand their responsibility and contribution to a culture of safety, all job postings will automatically include a standardized safety statement, outlining the shared responsibility of all faculty and staff in fostering a workplace that prioritizes safety. 

Compliance with the Sensitive Technology Research and Affiliations of Concern Policy

If you are hiring for a position with research security requirements, the Job Posting Request Form has been updated to allow you to inform potential applicants of these requirements. Simply select yes from the drop down list and the Shared Services Talent Acquisition team will add the eligibility statement to the job posting before your review.
